Rosewater has been used for thousands of years. It has a delicious fragrance and is used profoundly in and as a perfume. It plays different roles and has various benefits. Let’s see some:-


Alleviates Skin Irritation

Rosewater has powerful anti-inflammatory properties which help in curing various infections, both internal and external. It can soothe skin irritation and can be useful in various therapeutic uses.

Treats Sore Throat

The consumption of rosewater is proven to be beneficial to treat sore throat or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Boil 5-6 rose petals at a low flame, let it cool down, filter and drink it at your own pace. This will comfort the throat and act as a natural replacement for antibiotics.


Reduces Acne

Rosewater prevents the spread of bacteria which induces acne or pimples. It also improves complexion and rejuvenates the skin. Due to its antibacterial properties rose water is considerably used in beauty products.

  • Add rose water to Coconut oil and massage the face or hair.

  • Sprinkle rosewater on the face before bed.
